Srinagar is the nearest airport with daily flights from Delhi and Jammu. There are few connecting flights from Chandigarh and Leh in a week. The advantage of Srinagar is that it is home of some the world famous tourist plaes like Dal Lake, Nagin Lake, Shankaracharya Temple and Mughal gardens like Shalimar, Nishat and Cheshma-shahi. It is also gateway to the Kashmir known as “Paradise on Earth“.
From Srinagar you can get private and shared taxis, buses to reach both Pahalgam and Baltal, thus providing you enough scope to choose any route.

Jammu is the nearest Railway Station and the last point by train. Jammu is known as “CITY OF TEMPLES”, one may visit old temples such as Raghunath Temple, Mahadev Mandir and other temples. Pilgrims have added advantage to visit Vaishno Devi with Amarnath Darshan, if one plans Jammu in its itinerary. The Jammu Railway station is very well connected by trains from various towns of India.
