Day 01 : Srinagar – Sonmarg

Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport or Bus Stand, you will be warmly received and transferred to Sonmarg, famously known as the Meadow of Gold. The drive from Srinagar to Sonmarg is extremely scenic, passing through picturesque villages, mountain streams, and lush green landscapes. After reaching Sonmarg, check in at your hotel or Swiss camp and take time to relax and acclimatize to the high-altitude surroundings. The rest of the day is free to explore the nearby meadows or simply enjoy the peaceful mountain atmosphere. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Sonmarg.

Day 02 : Sonmarg – Baltal – Amarnath Cave – Srinagar

Early in the morning, after breakfast, proceed towards Baltal Helipad, located approximately 15 km from Sonmarg. From Baltal, board the helicopter to Panchtarni, subject to weather and operational conditions. On arrival at Panchtarni, the holy Amarnath Cave is around 6 km away and can be reached either by trekking or by hiring a pony or palki at your own cost.
