Uttara Guruvayurappan Temple is located at the Mayur Vihar Phase 1 New Delhi. The temple is founded in 1983 by the Arshi Dharm Parishad. This temple is most revered by the Malayali and Tamil communities in Delhi. The temple is dedicated to Lord Guruvayurappan (Krishna). The temple is built in the typical Kerala style architecture with two gopurams on the eastern side and western side. The temple has many shrines of the Lord Ganesha, Shiva, and Ayyapa. There is a place where a replica of Sarp Kavu is dedicated to the Naga Devatas.

Before the establishment of this temple, the DDA had allotted a plot at Janakpuri. But that place was not suitable according to Vastshastra. So the land is transferred to the Mayur Vihar Phase 1, New Delhi. The foundation stone is laid by Prof. Vezhaparambu Parameshwaran Namboodiripad.
Brahmamangalam Subramanian supervised the construction of the temple. The main deity of the temple is dedicated to Lord Guruvayurappan. The Uttara Guruvayurappan Temple has two gopurams on the eastern side and the western side. You can find many idols on the pillars of the temple.
There are various shrines of Lord ayyapa, Shiva, Ganesha. It is believed that the idol of Shri Guruvayurappan was worshipped by Vasudev and Devaki (parents of Lord Krishna). The idol of the temple is carrying four-arm and made with the black bismuth stone.
The temple is built in the Kerala style architecture with two gopurams at its both side eastern or western. The Garbha Grah has divided into two parts, one has for Lord Krishna and the other one for Goddess Bhagwati. Prof. Vezhaparambu Parameshwaran Namboodiripad was the architect of the temple.
The temple has many shrines of Lord Ganesha, Shiva, and Ayyapa. The temple is coated with red paint. The main idol of the temple is facing towards the west. There is a hall for the Marriage, conference, and meeting at the temple complex. Karthiayani auditorium is available for the Cultural events, stage plays.

The temple is managed by the Arshi Dharm Parishad (Regd.). This society was formed in 1964. Later the Arshi Dharm Parishad and Shree Krishan mandir samajam both got merged. Now this time the committee has 253 members. The election of the committee held every year.
