Iskcon temple Located in the East of Kailash, New Delhi. It was inaugurated by the Former Prime Minister Of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee on 5 April 1998. The ISKCON temple, also popular as Sri Radha Parthasarathi Mandir.
The architect of the Iskcon was Achyut Kanvinde. The Constructed started in 1993 and completed in 1998. The temple is a significant structure.
The main Shikhar of Temple is 90 feet high. The temple has three main shrines which are dedicated to Guara-Nitai, Sita-Ram, and Radha-Krishna.
This temple is renowned for its fine collection of paintings by Russian artists. All the Paintings show the events related to the Sita – Ram, Radha – Krishna.
All the shrines are air conditioning. The Idol is decorated with the Gold and Silver Jewellery. The Temple has a museum also. It’s remarkable paintings and outstanding objects which give a deep insight into Indian spiritualism. There are restaurants where one can enjoy the tasty Indian as well as foreign cuisine.
