Puri Beach festival is a major event organised each year at scenic Puri Sea Beach. Now Puri Beach Festival becomes a mega cultural event and tourist attraction as well in Odisha. The sea beach festival is organised by Hotel Association of Puri (HAP) and co-sponsored by the Odisha Tourism and India Tourism Department.
Puri Beach Festival is schedule to celebrated from 23rd to 29th of November month each year.
The grand Puri Sea Beach festival showcases majestic grandeur of divergent art, craft & culture from different states, particularly the ethnic pristine splendor of Orissan glorious culture heritage. The aim of this festival is to promote the art, crafts, culture, cuisine and tourism potential of Odisha on a single platform
The major attraction is the exclusive ‘Sand Art’ which has the concept of making timeless sculptures from the heap of sand. Representatives from different part of the state participate and perform their own artistic theme which includes dance, folk music, orchestra etc. in front of a live audience. In addition to this, representatives from other part of the country and abroad participate to show their cultural treasure. To add more fun and frolic to the festival, events like fashion shows and rock shows are also made a part of it that leaves every present soul extremely happy and spellbound.
