Thumpamon Vadakkumnatha Temple is situated in Pathanamthitta. There are two Sreekovils around the temple complex. The first Sreekovil is dedicated to Lord Vadakkumnatha. Both the Sreekovilil are round. The Sreekovil is adorned with magnificent mural paintings that augment its beauty. Some devotees believe that Lord Vadakkumnatha is a form of Lord Shiva. While few others believe that the deity is a representation of Lord Kartikeya while several others are of the opinion that it is a form of Lord Vishnu.
Thumpamon Vadakkumnatha Temple is famous for Uthrada Mahotsavam and Kalakettu Kettukazhcha.
The annual Uthrada Mahotsavam is celebrated during March-April. Kalakettu Kettukazhcha is the major highlight of the festival at Thumpamon Vadakkumnatha Temple.
