Vadakkan Koyikkal Devi Temple Puthiyavila is situated in Puthiyavila, Kayamkulam. The main deity worshipped in the temple is Goddess Parvathy. The other deities worshipped are Lord Shiva, Bhadrakali, Sree Dharma Sastha, Naga Nevada, Khandakarna, Yekshi, Yogishwara and Brahma Rakshas. Kettukazhcha is celebrated on 9th and 10th day.
Navaha Yekngam is another 9-day festival celebrated in the Vadakkan Koyikkal Devi Temple. The 9-day festival is celebrated during April – May. During these nine days, religious ceremonies are conducted in the temple. On all nine days, Annadana is also performed.
