Anandeshwar Mahadeva Temple, Pandanad, Kerala

Anandeshwar Mahadeva Temple is one of the oldest temples in Pandanad. It is situated 6 km from Chengannur and 4kms from Mannar. It is a famous Hindu temple where Lord Shiva is worshipped. Festivals celebrated in the temple are Sapthaham, Maha Shivaratri, Navaho Yajnam, Parayeduppu and many more.

Anandeshwar Mahadeva Temple is Famous For

The holy shrine is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple was earlier located on the bank of the river Pampa. It was destroyed by the flood. The deity was then placed in Anandeswaram Mahadeva Kshethram by Vanjipuzha Madom, who was the owner of the temple.
